Rights Group Says All Gaza Flotilla Activists Released from Israeli Detention Pending Deportation
The Israeli rights group Adalah said it had received official confirmation from prison authorities and state officials that all individuals held at Ktziot prison had been freed and were in the process of being transferred for deportation procedures.
According to the statement, most of the released participants were being moved to Ramon Airport, where they were expected to be flown out of the country as part of deportation arrangements.
The group also noted that its legal team was closely tracking the transfer process to ensure that the activists are deported safely and without further delays or complications.
The development follows the detention of flotilla participants who were part of humanitarian missions attempting to reach Gaza, an incident that has drawn significant international attention and legal scrutiny.
